Getting started with APEX

Do you know Oracle Application Express (APEX)? According to Oracle APEX documentation, it is a Web development environment of the Oracle Database. Using nothing more than a modern Web browser, you can easily and quickly create modern, responsive, secure and scalable Web applications.

Now that you know what is Oracle APEX, let’s create a simple application using it.

You can get a free workspace at http://apex.oracle.com to evaluate Oracle APEX.
If you need help, use this documentation to know how to sign up for a workspace.

Click on Applicaton Builder link.

Click on Create link.

Select the Desktop option and click on Next button.

Click on Next button.

Click on Add Page button.
Select Report and Form as Page Type, fill out form fields and click on Add Page button.

Click on Create Application button.

Done!
Click on Run button to test your application.

Use your credentials to log in.

Click on Emp link.

Click on Create button to create a new employee.
