In the last post we installed Apache in Oracle Cloud Compute Classic instance, but we used the public IP to access it, not a DNS (Domain Name System) that is more human-readable and the common way to access any internet address.
In this post you will learn how to configure your DNS to point to your compute instance in Oracle Cloud.
First of all, copy your public IP.
Go to your hosting company. In this case, I will use my DNS (waslleysouza.com) that is hosted in GoDaddy Hosting.
All you have to do is configure a new A record using your public IP.
Done! Now, try to access using your DNS.
